Another Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Carving

M told me about a great little local pumpkin patch not 10 minutes from our house. It’s church-run and is all totally free except for the pumpkins that you buy. So yesterday afternoon, we met up with M and Z as well as Daddy (who had been riding his motorcycle) and had a blast. They had a hay ride, wooden cutouts that we used for pictures, a fish bait game, a fishing pond, tic tac toe, bean bag toss, and face painting. We got another great pumpkin for carving too. And Hubby bought a loaf of yummy pumpkin bread. Great afternoon!!!!!

Then we came home, had some dinner, and started on the carving. A really didn’t want to handle the inside of the pumpkins. Daddy did the standard design and A wanted to do a princess rose on the other one. I had bought a princess carving set with some stencils. It came out pretty well for the first one I ever did in my whole life! What fun :D

Getting ready for the fun…
