Family at Heart

Since Hubby was out of town on Sunday, A and I headed to the neighborhood breakfast with Santa event alone.  It was cold and drizzling rain so it wasn’t very crowded when we were there.  The line wasn’t too bad either, so I kept our place while A colored a couple of pictures and then mailed her letter off to Santa.  She asked for a lab coat   I signed up to receive some information from New York Life so she could get a free teddy bear.  Hey, I’ll do anything for that kid!  Santa was really nice.  They took quite a bit of time with each child which was nice.  He was really talking to A and not rushing her through so he could get to the next kid.  Nice!

After the Santa visit, we went outside for A to ride the little train.  She chose to sit in the covered part and ring the bell.  She had a great time doing that too.

We wanted to continue our fun so we headed to Chuck E. Cheese’s to finish up our tokens we had left from a previous birthday party.  A had the best time!  We ended up with more than 200 tickets and she just loves her prizes.  The magic trick is definitely cool.  I foresee that going to school on Show and Tell day!  We sure had a great Mommy/A day

This was a very fun afternoon with my angel girl
