Family at Heart

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Donetta, mom to a very energetic and fun-loving little girl and wife to a wonderfully fun and kind husband. This was all his idea! And I am loving it. I want to write about being a mom – the hardest and most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done. I find myself laughing hysterically most days at A’s antics. She is 3 now and I still look at her and see that chubby baby that I used to hold as she napped. Nostalgia has been hitting hard these past few weeks. She is potty trained now, well mostly. I won’t go into stinky details here. Her imagination abounds, she is a total comedian and I love it. I hope that never changes. I have always given her 110% of me, and I have been struggling with the decision to send her to preschool. I finally had some peace about the whole thing when we visited the preschool at a friend’s church. But then we find that there is a waiting list. That’s just fine with me. So for now, I still have her with me everyday, all day. Happy mommy and happy A. Can’t wait to share more with all of you…
